Watercolor at the Farm: Paint with Betsy Jacaruso
Six Senses Hudson Valley (formerly Old Stone Farm), Staatsburg, NY
October 23 · 3:00–5:30 PM
Join us for a watercolor painting experience on the farm at Six Senses Hudson Valley (just a 10 minute drive from Rhinebeck). We’ll focus on capturing the changing autumn light across rustic barns, farmhouses, fields, and a babbling creek. Betsy will begin with a short demonstration, and everyone will be encouraged to paint in their own style with her guidance. All levels of painting experience are encouraged to join in on this creative, and fun opportunity.
Please note, we plan to be painting outside, but in case of rain, we’ll move indoors to the beautifully renovated barn space overlooking the property. Please wear weather-appropriate attire.
Supplies: If you are a current student or already have watercolor supplies, please bring your regular setup (you can refer to our mixed-level supplies list, but feel free to bring what you have). We always recommend including a warm and cool version of red, yellow, and blue.
For those who are new to watercolor and don’t have supplies, we’ll provide a basic watercolor setup so everyone has the chance to participate.
